Därför är det viktigt att tänka på följande;

·         Sopor måste sorteras i rätt kärl.

·         I grovsoprummet får saker enbart placeras i kärlen.

HOW TO AVOID BEING CHARGED FOR IMPROPER WASTE DISPOSAL

Problems with waste sorting are currently causing increased costs for the housing association.

We continuously monitor misuse of the waste rooms through CCTV surveillance and the access control system.

Any handling of waste that results in additional costs may be charged to the member responsible.

Therefore, it is important to keep the following in mind:

•  Waste must be sorted into the correct containers. Incorrect items (for example, cardboard placed in a plastic container) may result in the waste collection company refusing to empty that container, requiring the association to order a separate collection service.

• Cardboard boxes must be flattened, as they otherwise take up excessive space and may necessitate additional collections at extra cost.

• Items placed on the floor outside the containers will not be collected. In the worst case, the association will need to arrange separate cleaning or removal, resulting in additional costs.

• PLEASE NOTE that there is a bulky waste room for items that do not belong in the regular waste room containers.

• In the bulky waste room, items may only be placed inside the designated containers. Items left on the floor may prevent the waste collection company from emptying the containers during their regular service, requiring the association to order additional collections at extra cost.

• Furniture and other oversized items that do not fit into the containers must be transported by each resident to a municipal recycling centre.

• Chemicals and paint cans containing leftover paint cannot be disposed of through the regular waste disposal system and create additional costs for the association. These items must be taken to a recycling centre by the individual resident.

Please remember that the association does not employ anyone to manage these matters. Waste disposal is the responsibility of each individual member.
